About me

Hi, I’m Lindsey! I would love to be your Yoga Coach!

I grew up doing all kinds of activities including water skiing, snowmobiling, snow skiing, gymnastics and running. I continued to play several sports through High School, lettering in Track & Skiing in my Freshman year, and going on to get a collegiate skiing scholarship in Idaho. I discovered Yoga in my 20’s and loved it instantly. My dad and I attended an Iyengar Yoga class together for years, I practiced through both my pregnancies, found a teacher I loved who taught out of her home when my kids were little, and then leaned into it again when I decided to quit drinking in my early 40’s. Sports and the Outdoors are a big part of my identity. I have always considered myself an Athlete. I still love to run and ski and I now teach Yoga and lift weights as well. In the summer you can find me wakeboarding and hiking. Walking my dogs with my family is my favorite way to end the day. Movement is Medicine and if you never stop moving, you'll never grow old in my opinion.
I now teach Yoga for Athletes and design my sequences as active recovery for all of the other activities we do in our daily lives (from sitting at a desk job or looking down at our phones to overuse of muscle groups in single-sport focus or soreness from weight training). I believe the benefits of mobility, stillness, flexibility, breathwork and mindfulness we get from Yoga make us better athletes and better people when we are off the mat. I wish that all young people were taught Yoga as a life skill to manage anxiety, become in touch with their bodies, sit through discomfort and encourage strength and flexibility in a non-traditional way. I love teaching young athletes how Yoga can become a part of training and recovery for their sports. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to teach every single student I encounter.
